Sadly, over the past weekend, New Zealand lost one of its greatest and most admired entertainers. Beaver (Beverly Morrison) lost her six year battle to lung cancer at Mercy Hospice in Auckland.
Kiwi FM had the huge pleasure of hosting Beaver for the show “The Kiwi House” in early 2010. She was kind enough to share her stories with us and play some of her most memorable songs.
As a tribute to Beaver we will be replaying that show this Sunday at 5.00pm and again on Thursday the 3rd of June at 3.00pm.

“ It was a total pleasure interviewing Beaver. She doesn't give many interviews and she has known me since I was a budding blues player so it was already a big deal for me. She was already Ill at the time of the interview but she was very keen to get her perspective recorded and it has taken on special significance since her sad death. We'll all really miss her. ”
