CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL AND NEW ZEALAND MUSIC MONTH 2009

Weekdays during May the Christchurch City Council will be hosting NZ music performances at a variety of locations around the inner city, from its heart in Cathedral Square and the shopping artery of City Mall, to the nexus of urban fashion on High Street and the lively cafe scene of 'The Terrace', flanking the Avon River. The performances will be
positioned around lunchtime to bring the sounds of local original music to the city lunchers, creating a buzz unique to this month which celebrates the vitality and originality that is NZ music.
