It's that time of the year again; New Zealand Music Month is upon us!
Wednesday May 26th 2010, The Copper Room Takapuna presents the New Zealand Music Month event Unplugged: showcasing Lisa Crawley, Kirsten Morrell and Lydia Cole. Doors open 6pm, performances from 7pm. Presale tickets $15 (booking fee may apply) from www.iticket.co.nz or $25 at the door.
As part of the many national celebrations the 26th of May will see the Copper Room Takapuna open its doors to host the beautiful and unique sounds of New Zealand singer songwriters Lisa Crawley, Kirsten Morrell (Goldenhorse) and Lydia Cole.
The night provides a unique opportunity to get involved and show your support for local artists at the forefront of the growing movement for the promotion of New Zealand music. All equally equipped with voices that are both original and classic, Crawley, Morrell and Cole will perform intimate unplugged sets - all in the name of charity.
Opening its doors at 6pm with acts kicking off from 7pm the night’s performances will raise funds for the Raukatauri Music Therapy Centre. All contributions will go towards providing music therapy for special needs children of school age and younger..
This is an opportunity to experience live, intimate and unplugged New Zealand talent at its best.
