Juice TV is proud to announce grabaseat as the presenting partner for the Juice TV Awards 2010 which will be held this year on the 31st May at Juice Bar in Parnell.
A break from hosting their annual music awards ceremony in September sees the 2010 Juice TV Awards moving to Music Month, providing a great reason for New Zealanders to get behind their favourite NZ musicians this May.
The ‘as live’ broadcast will air from 7pm on the 31st May and will feature a pre- awards party at The Quadrant Hotel, a street party and red carpet on Windsor Street, Parnell and the awards function hosted by Juice TV’s crew of presenters from different parts of the Juice Bar and Windsor Castle. Following the awards will be a broadcasted after party with performances from four of NZ’s top Acts including Scribe Vs Savage as part of their nationwide tour proudly presented by Juice TV and Mai FM.
The JUICE TV AWARDS celebrate and acknowledge the Best Music Videos our country has to offer. The award categories run the full gamut of NZ music, a reflection of the channel itself; featuring Rock, Metal, Electronic, Group, Solo Artist, Indie, Dub and Hip Hop awards plus awards for Best Director and Break Through artists.
This year sees a further innovation with the award for Best Live Act with viewers voting for their favourite performer screened as part of Juice TV’s annual Live Showcase gigs throughout May.
Voting will commence at juicetv.com and via Text from May 1.

The CRAFT Sessions
Other Juice TV Music Month Activity on Juice TV will include intimate CRAFT Sessions from the revered dungeon of the Juice Bar “The CRAFT Room.” These solo sessions will feature a wide variety of musicians and will see NZ’s best music stripped back to its purest form.
1st May with Opshop
Music Month will be launched on Juice TV with on the road and in the air updates from Opshop on their quest to play 10 gigs in ten towns in One Day, thanks to The Music Commission and grabaseat. Tune in to Juice TV all day on the 1st May for up to the minute updates from the 50 seat grabaseat Music Month plane!
