Stroma, conducted by Hamish McKeich, present their first concert for 2010. The programme includes the New Zealand premiere’s of Ross Harris’Trombone Opera and Chris Gendall’s Rudiments as well as a work by Rzewski.
The programme also features a series of solo items: Bridget Douglas (flute) will perform Luciano Berio’s Sequenza I, Peter Dykes (oboe) Berio’sSequenza VII and Rebecca Struthers will play Ross Harris’ Fanitullin, the test piece for the 2007 Michael Hill International Violin Competition.
