Boosted, Aotearoa New Zealand’s only arts-specific crowdfunding platform, is hitting the road in partnership with CNZ to present a workshop series focused on helping pasifika creatives harness the power of crowdfunding to get their arts projects funded.

BoostedxMoana is an initiative by Creative NZ and The Arts Foundation aiming to champion and support the Tagata Moana Arts in Aotearoa: growing awareness, building fundraising capability among Pasifika creatives, fostering community, and ultimately – helping Pasifika creatives make more art! Boosted X Moana offers match-funding, $3,000 unlocked dollar by dollar, to pasifika creatives who are raising money for their arts project on Boosted.

Throughout the duration of 2024, BoostedxMoana are travelling to various regions across Aotearoa providing free workshops. BoostedxMoana workshops have been created to provide more context on the BoostedXMoana campaign, give knowledge on how to run a BoostedXMoana campaign and to gain interest of our creative Pasifika anau.

To continue their workshop tour, Boosted are coming to Whangārei on Saturday 25th May 11:00AM – 1:00PM to run a free BoostedXMoana focused workshop.

BoostedxMoana Crowdfunding Mentor, Poe-Tiare Tararo, will be going through the journey of running a crowdfunding campaign, explaining how the process works on Boosted, and how Creative New Zealand’s match funding may apply.
