Video of the Day: Mel Parsons – ‘Circling The City’

Award-winning artist Mel Parsons’ pensive new single ‘Circling The City‘ is our Video of the Day today.

‘Circling the City‘ is the third single to be released off her forthcoming album, Sabotage, out June 7. Mel will also embark on a three-date Aotearoa tour upon the album’s launch, taking the live experience of her work to Christchurch, Auckland and Wellington.

Tinged with melancholy, reflection and a hint of desperation, ‘Circling The City’ is downbeat indie-folk with a poignant sense of yearning. With Mel self-directing the music video, it’s no wonder she captures the mood perfectly.
