Alex + 6 is a well seasoned septet that will present a fizzing set of horn heavy swing. Join us as we explore some new interpretations of familiar melodies and underground favourites. Expect to hear exhilarating tunes from the finest jazz composers, heart wrenching Broadway ballads, and danceable delights.

For this gig we will be joined by special guest vocalist Brock Alexander who is visiting us from Melbourne.

Inspired by classic albums such as Art Pepper + 11, Oliver Nelson's the Blues And The Abstract Truth, and Oscar Pettiford's Octet and Nonet, the arrangements are appealingly simple and allow all the members to shine through.
