Funky Mama

Funky Mama has been a staple in the Wellington music diet since its inception in 2016.

Fresh from curing cases of deep vein trombosis in Tauranga, they bring their signature sound that's influenced by deep funk, bouncy boogaloo & 80's house.

This will be their last gig for a wee while as their leader and Saxophonist, Bryn van Vliet, is leaving these shores for larger and most likely greyer pastures.
