It's NZ Music Month, and what better way to celebrate than a big night of live music at the Taproom! This is your chance to be a small but brilliant part of it.

As always, our Open Mic kicks off at 7.00pm — but this month we have something extra special: the amazing Talute take the stage from around 8.00-8.30pm to round out the night in style. 🎸

Led by open-mic regular Chris Davis, Talute blends Pacific reggae, folk and indie rock into something truly special — described as 'universal in appeal and undeniably magnetic.' And the best part? They're a 6-piece band of talented locals from right here in Mangawhai and Bream Bay. Come celebrate NZ Music Month with live original music from your own backyard!
A word of warning — last month was standing-room-only, so grab your crew and get there early to secure a good table! Doors open at 5.00pm. Don't say we didn't tell you! 😄

We'll be passing the hat on the night, and we ask that everyone contributes a minimum $5 koha — split between Nick our amazing soundman and Talute. We organisers don't take a single cent. And honestly? $5 to $10 is a pretty small price to pay for a whole evening of live entertainment!
