Week 2
Each Thursday, local performers take over this one-of-a-kind venue for a burst of live music. Set inside the 160-year-old architectural gem that is Old St Paul’s, this is a peaceful, welcoming place to pause and enjoy something special.
Opening the Old St Paul's/Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga winter concert series Musical Punch Over Lunch, is Petit ChouX, a French-born singer-songwriter based in Wellington. Petit ChouX’s music sits at the crossroads of tenderness and emotional depth inviting listeners to be present and immerse themselves in the beauty of her multilingual lyrics. Her music creates a gentle and unforgettable atmosphere. Her debut EP Coule was praised by muzic.nz for its evocative songwriting, with reviewer Danica Bryant noting that Petit ChouX “possesses a voice that could lull a child to sleep, or a sailor to their death.”
