6 piece Soul/Hip Hop Wellington band play Moon for the first time with support from Sam Fowles (solo) and Lucy Summerfield (solo with cello accompanied)

NAMELESS AND BRAINLESS:
What started as some jams for a Master's level project between a couple of the bros has evolved into a soulful, hard-hitting band.
While this project is fresh, each of the musicians either has a degree in music or has vast experience in the industry.
High-energy Kiwi raps in English and Te Reo, accompanied by a powerful band and driven by a locked-in rhythm section.

LUCY SUMMERFIELD:
Lucy Summerfield’s music is threaded through with intention. She explores the full range of human experience in her work with her poignant lyrics. The way she weaves these together with carefully crafted melodies has seen her recognised nationally for her songwriting in both te reo Māori and English.

She is joined onstage by talented cellist Joanna Dann (Boxhill Quartet).

SAM FOWLES:
Sam Fowles is a soul-searcher and sonic adventurer from Pōneke, Aotearoa. His music drifts from smoky, blues-drenched sunrises into funk-filled skies, weaving a tapestry of soulful psychedelia that moves both body and soul.

Live and solo, Sam becomes a guitar-slinging troubadour, wringing the truth from every phrase. Without the full band, the focus falls on his storytelling, the groove in his right hand, and the emotion in his voice. It’s soulful, intimate, and full of heart, showcasing a different side of his music while remaining unmistakably Sam
