Te Tangi o Te Pīpīwharauroa

In support of National Youth Week, Te Rūnanga o Kirikiriroa will be hosting a free, taiohi-led event, celebrating their voices, ideas and leadership across our community. Te Tangi o Te Pīpīwharauroa is a free event which will include sports, a barbershop, a lashes bar, Hulanesia sessions, a chillout space, free kai and lots of prizes.

It’s a day shaped by taiohi, for taiohi, to come together, connect with one another, take part in activities that uplift hauora, and share kōrero about the kaupapa that matter most to them.

It is also a chance for taiohi to step into their rangatiratanga and speak about the change they want to see.
