MusicHelps NZ Music T-Shirt Day is happening this Friday 29 May!
MusicHelps NZ Music T-Shirt Day is a massive nationwide celebration of kiwi music and the power music has to make a positive difference in our lives. It celebrates our kiwi music legends and our amazing emerging talent.
This year, COVID-19 has affected kiwi music workers in a way that has never been experienced before. The livelihoods of crew, artists, venue staff and everyone that has a part to play in making live music experiences happen have been shattered. Our response has been MusicHelpsLive, an appeal that's making real difference in these difficult times.
This year, NZ Music T-Shirt Day is part our MusicHelpsLive appeal and the proceeds will be used to support kiwi music workers experiencing distress and hardship as a result of COVID-19.
Taking part and making a difference is really easy! Simply wear your favourite kiwi band or artist t-shirt or merch on Friday May 29, take a fabulous pic, post to your socials with #nzmusictshirtday, then text "MUSIC" to 2448 to donate $3 to our MusicHelpsLive appeal. Every donation will make a difference! You can do it yourself or get your mates and work colleagues together and do it as a team.
No kiwi band t-shirt? No problem! Get your T-Shirt or merch right now from our comprehensive list of band and artist websites here.
