Live Music Saturdays: High School Classical Pianist Manawa Kapila

Pātaka Art + Museum present live music every Saturday in May, celebrating NZ Music Month with a showcase of local talent.

"I have always loved playing piano, it's a way to express my thoughts, feelings and ideas. I started when I was 9 and have been playing for the last 6 years under the guidance of my piano teacher Val Bean here in Porirua. I have been making my own compositions since I first started playing classical piano. Composition allows for so much freedom to explore the auditory landscape." - Manawa Kapila.

Sit back and enjoy a chilled hour of pop classics from 1-2pm on the 24th.
