Representing Te Kura Tūwaenga o Whakatū - Nelson Intermediate School, the kaupapa of Te Pītau Whakarei Kapa Haka’s roopu is growth. Their kaihaka are growing in their ability to stand as Māori and as global citizens of the world, guided by their tūpuna. Their main goal is to continue growing Te Reo Māori and Kapa Haka within Māori medium education in Te Tauihu and allowing their tamariki to be unapologetically Māori.
