From studio time to strategy, visuals to playlist pitching, the goal is to support the release of one standout single and help launch an artist with international potential.
The initiative intends to catch and nurture emerging artists that don’t yet qualify for the NZ On Air single funding, which is why they have chosen to match their grant amount of $10,000.
Noteworthy will go live this Friday May 9th, with applications open until Sunday May 25th.

Check out all things goodtwin below:
goodtwin was established in Jan 2025 by Lucie Watson, who after 10-years of building label services company Platoon, and launching the careers of Billie Eilish, Jorja Smith, Victoria Monèt and more, has seen an opportunity to build a bridge between New Zealand and the UK for artists, hoping to give them more opportunities and exposure on a global scale.
Imani-J is goodtwin’s flagship New Zealand artist, with the 17-year old R&B / Afrobeats artist releasing her first single ‘See You In Jupiter’ in April, which was picked up by Rolling Stones Aus/NZ, Sniffers and RNZ. Imani-J also won a competition to perform at the R&B festival Victoria Vibez in Auckland.
