Blending alternative pop, house, and electronic elements, Rabbit Hole is an immersive sonic experience, capturing the highs and lows of self-discovery and artistic pursuit.
With production helmed by Chequered Patterns at Parachute Studios, the EP features six tracks that explore themes of ambition, burnout, and the pursuit of authenticity.
"Rabbit Hole is about chasing happiness,” Jeiel explains. “Along the way, I got tired and thought the more I chase it, the more it eludes me. And some things I thought would make me happy didn’t really. Like Lana Del Rey said, 'Happiness is a butterfly'—the more you chase it, the more it eludes you."
The project includes ‘Thru This’, a club-ready anthem about resilience; ‘Wake Up’, an electrifying call to break free from illusions; and ‘7 Eleven’, a defiant declaration of independence. Each track showcases Jeiel’s ability to merge sharp lyricism with high-energy production, creating an experience that’s both personal and universally relatable.
The EP will be accompanied by a series of visuals, including the cyberpunk-inspired ‘Thru This’ music video (directed by Luke Penney) and an upcoming EP release show, where Jeiel will perform Rabbit Hole in its entirety.
