To celebrate NZ Music Month, Auckland artist and producer Marshmellow releases 'Dandelion' — a light and lyrical new single for kids, featuring the warm, thoughtful vocals of beloved children’s artist Claudia Robin Gunn.
A gentle invitation to daydream and explore the natural world, 'Dandelion' is the latest release from Great Friends — Marshmellow’s brand-new kids album featuring eight original tracks and a star-studded lineup of Aotearoa’s favourite children’s (and grown-up) music creators.
Produced by Marshmellow, Great Friends features delicious collaborations with Levity Beet, Itty Bitty Beats, Kath Bee, Judi Cranston, Claudia Robin Gunn, Fleabite, and the Jubilation Gospel Choir.
Marshmellow is the musical project of Marshall Smith, a prolific and award-winning composer and songwriter known for fun, whimsical and clever music for both adults and children. His growing catalogue includes five adult albums and EPs, three kids albums and EPs, and the popular Frequency of Love meditation and relaxation music series. With more than 2,000 original works published, international performances, and an APRA Silver Scroll finalist nod, Marshmellow continues to create music with heart, humour and imagination.
