Alt-country band Sig Wilder & Friends are returning sonically to the hometown of songwriter & front-man Sig Wilder with their new single, ‘Slow Time’, out May 16th via Home Alone Records.

Though Sig now calls Aotearoa home, he was born and raised in a small town outside of St Louis, Missouri. It took moving to the other side of the world for him to embrace the southern Americana sound that he spent his early career resisting. Sig Wilder & Friends is his love letter to the music that raised him, and, by extension, to his hometown.

'Slow Time' represents the culmination of five years of reflection, learning, songwriting and connection. The song explores the complexity of finding a new home away from home and finding yourself torn between two lives, two futures.
