Paper Mountains Announce Their New Single 'Every Little Good Thing'

Paper Mountains return on May 5th 2026 with their heartfelt new single 'Every Little Good Thing', an upbeat indie folk pop gem that quietly dismantles the famous Beatles line 'All You Need Is Love' in the middle of a struggling relationship.

Paper Mountains are excited to announce the release of their final single 'Every Little Good Thing' from their upcoming debut album An Olive Tree and a Warm Breeze Produced by Toby Lloyd. The single is due for release everywhere on the 5th of May 2026 to coincide with NZ Music Month with the album to follow in June.

Sitting at the emotional midpoint of their upcoming album, 'Every Little Good Thing' marks the moment the story turns from love into fracture. Written during a period of strain in the frontman’s own relationship, the song captures the moment where love stopped being enough while he meditates on how he ever believed the Beatles song 'All You Need is Love'.

Produced, Engineered and Mixed by Toby Lloyd, from the heart of the Tiny Triumph Recordings studio, the track features upbeat horns from some of Wellington’s finest brass players (Chris Buckland and Ben Hunt) with driving guitars, heartfelt vocals and backing vocals from Wellington Indie-Pop artist January Blue.

With its balance of honesty, heartbreak and hope, the single captures the band at their most vulnerable and most expansive, continuing to refine a sound that pairs heartfelt songwriting, with dynamic and textured production.

'Every Little Good Thing' will be available on all streaming platforms from 5th May. Pre-save the track here.
