Music collective follows up Shadowland EP with a moody slice of guitar pop heaven.

Whangarei’s music collective, Sad Boxer, is proud to announce the release of their latest single, ‘The Rainbow Horses.’ Arriving hot on the heels of last month's well received Shadowland EP, the new track continues the group’s streak of releasing "almost international hits" into the universe for fans to discover and cherish.

‘The Rainbow Horses’ is the latest creative distillation of the partnership between songwriter Rob Jones and writer Vaughan Gunson. Jones has taken Gunson’s evocative lyrics and transformed them into a shimmering, atmospheric soundscape that stays true to the collective's signature guitar-driven sound.

"We're just putting these out there for someone to discover, cherish, and obsess over," says the collective. "The song is out now—the rest is up to you.”
